- Is SnailPostal cheaper than Patreon for a mail club?
- SnailPostal's platform fee is 4.5%, and only on a club's monthly revenue above $100. Patreon takes 10% for creators who joined from August 2025. Both add payment processing on top.
- Can I move my Patreon members to SnailPostal?
- You can import your member list and send each person an invite. Subscriptions can't be transferred between platforms, so each member re-enters payment once when they rejoin.
- Does SnailPostal collect mailing addresses?
- Yes. Every subscription includes a shipping address, addresses are kept current when a subscriber updates them, and the roster exports as a CSV for labels. It also has a monthly mailing cutoff, which Patreon doesn't.
- Where does the money go?
- Straight to your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect. SnailPostal never holds your funds.
Moving a club over
Import your subscriber list and send each person an invite to rejoin, connect your own Stripe account for payouts, and add any cash or check subscribers by hand. Existing subscriptions can't be transferred automatically between platforms — each subscriber re-enters payment once when they rejoin.
